How to use: 1) Load your floor plan (PDF, PNG or JPG; export DWG/DXF to PDF first). 2) Set scale: click both ends of a known dimension and enter its length. 3) Draw walls so the coverage is cut where cameras can't see. 4) Add cameras, drag to move, drag the white handle to aim, and adjust focal length. Zoom with the mouse wheel or pinch; drag empty space to pan. Ranges use horizontal resolution, sensor width and focal length, corrected for mounting height (target at 1.5 m). They're a design baseline: lighting, compression and lens quality also matter. Your drawing stays in your browser. Techubox.com
How to use the CCTV Floor Plan Designer
Turn your architectural drawing into a CCTV layout in minutes. Upload the floor plan, set the scale, draw walls and drop cameras. Each camera shows its real field of view and pixel density zones, and walls block the view, so blind spots are easy to see before installation.
Step by step
- Upload the floor plan as PDF, PNG or JPG.
- Set the scale by clicking two points with a known distance.
- Draw walls so camera views stop where they should.
- Place cameras, pick the model and lens, then rotate them to aim.
- Export the camera schedule (CSV), save the project, or print the layout.
Worked example
On an office floor, place a 4MP dome at each entrance with the identification zone covering the door, then add wide-angle cameras for corridors. The schedule lists every camera with model, lens and target level for the BOQ.
